Govt, parties urged to be flexible RSS KATHMANDU, Mar. 5: Intellectual and Marxist thinker Govinda Bhatta has said the government, Maoists and political parties should be flexible to transform the present cease-fire in to a state of permanent peace.Talking to the National News Agency (RSS) today, Bhatta said the political parties should think seriously and the government should also adopt national consensus without ignoring the roles of political parties.Expressing the view that a coalition government should be formed including representatives from all the major political parties he said that the newly formed government would carry out further talks to restore permanent peace in the country.Criticising the political parties for their inability to be united in providing permanent solution to the Maoist problem, Bhatta stressed on the progressive and qualitative improvements in the political practices in the country by making necessary amendment of the present Constitution.Constitutional Monarchy and parliamentary democracy is the today's main concern and the other problems can be solved in phase-wise manner, he said.
