Khotang team meets PM

KATHMANDU, Mar. 21: A delegation of Khotang district met with Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand and requested naming as 'King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya Highway' the 95-km long Gaighat-Diktel, the North-South Sagarmatha Highway.

The delegation demanded Rs. 1 billion and 100 million from His Majesty's Government for the immediate completion of the highway.

The delegation included central member of RPP (Rastrabadi) Parashuram Rai, Madan Krishna Hada, Dr. Girija Shankar Rajbanshi, Sitaram Rai, Ratan Rai, Prem Rai, Baburam Neupane, Devbikram, Bishnu Rai, Dan Bahadur Rai, and Narayan Rai.s
