New Look New Business Age
Moving into a new office at an
independent house at a centrally located peaceful corner of the
city, we decided to present a Dashain gift to our valued readers. The
result is a refreshingly new layout of the magazine with many colour
pages and some additional columns. We hope you will enjoy it and suggest
ways to further improve it. While the businesses that are the major
source of our advertisement revenue are going through a difficult time
and inquiring us about possibilities of special rebate on advertisement
tariff, the shift into a new building and the change in the presentation
of the magazine both have indeed made a significant dent in the finances
of our organization, but the continued support that we have received
from business firms as well as other groups of our patrons in a way
forced us to implement this idea that we were actually planning for some
time but were hesitating to implement looking at the present situation
of the country. Every black cloud has a silver lining.
So, why keep on whining about the current situation? In fact, the
present time is the best to venture many things new. The ideas that one
could not implement due to the shortage of resources when the business
was thriving can have one’s attention now for further refinement and
implementation. Also the times are a’changin! The new look introduced
in the New Business Age is an expression of this conviction of ours. We strongly believe that, irrespective of
the vicissitudes of business environment, the customer always has the
right to ask for more value from the business. New look New Business Age
is an expression of our commitment to serve added value to our valued
customers. And we reiterate our promise to come up with further value
addition in the future. Despite all the negativities about the
current situation, whether the politicians manage to have a ceasefire or
not, we hope our patrons (readers as well as advertisers) will
find enough time and pretexts to enjoy the festival holidays by meeting
the friends and relatives, spending time with the family, and, of
course, reading new look New Business Age. Happy holidays! |
