Latest Range From Philips

Syakar Company (P) Ltd, the authorized dealer of global electronic giant Philips for the kingdom of Nepal, has very recently introduced a series of new electronic appliances - 15" flat TV – 15PT 2302, CD player (Micro System) – MC 70, CD sound machines – AZ 1138 and AZ 1155. Flat TV projects auto picture booster, incredible surround and component video input as prime specifications whereas MC 70-CD player boasts of 400W PMPO, 2 way bass reflex speaker and logic deck with auto reverse function.

Similarly, CD sound machine – AZ 1138 is characterized with analogue 6OW PMPO turner and 2-way speaker system. If to name some of the vividly projected features of AZ 1155 than 150w PMPO, digital turner with 30 presets and CD – rewritable compatible function come first.

To meet the latest trend of technological sophistications, AZ 1155 is also featured with MP3 CD play back and remote control which also applies in the case of AZ 1138, the company informs.

 Continental Launches Qingqi Light Truck

Continental Trading Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for China Quingqi, Zibo Automobile Manufacturing, PR China, has launched three models of Light Truck, Single Cab, King Cab and Double Cab for Nepali market. Priced at Rs. 7,00,000 for Single Cab, Rs. 7,25,000 for King Cab and Rs. 7,50,000 for Double Cab, company sources claim that the introduction of these vehicles will suit the local market condition.

The 2156 cc light truck comes with a vertical, in –line, four-stroke diesel engine, forced water cooling system, electric starting mode and with a wheelbase of 2400 mm – 2600 mm., informs the company.

The vehicle is safe, reliable and economical and gives a mileage of 13 Km/litre claims the company. It is the most fuel efficient light truck in its category available in the Nepali market and meets Nepal Emission norm 2056 (Euro-I), say the company sources.

New Peugeots

Peugeot vehicles 406HDI, 206 and Partner models, manufactured in France, have recently been introduced by Euro Gears Pvt. Ltd. (Auto Land Pvt. Ltd.).

The topmost range, 406HDI, comes with most advanced common rail diesel engine, onboard computer, front and side airbags, ABS brakes, Clarion CD changer among other standard features, informs the company. The other model, 206, the company adds, is a renowned rally winner model while Partner van is a multi-utility vehicle with highly fuel efficient diesel engine and high ground clearance.

Euro Gears also claims that these vehicles have latest European designed aerodynamic sturdy body and its emission and safety features meet Euro-III standards.

 US Assembled Bikes

Bright Orient International (P) Ltd. has lately introduced three versions of Chinese mobike – 0B150-2, 0B150-4 and 0B150-4 – manufactured by Honda Group Import and Export Company Ltd., under the brand name ‘Motoaupa’ in Nepali soil.

The bikes, according to company sources, are assembled in the United States, and possess Taizi motor technology.

All the models are equipped with 150cc, 4 stroke, double cylinder cum air cooling engines, and boast of front disk brake, pushrod system, electric/kick start mode and stylish outlook as additional sophistications.

The bikes promise fuel efficiency of around 50 km/L, and are priced at Rs. 1,40,000, Rs, 1,35,000 and Rs 1,25,000 depending on the models.

Rabren Introduces Yingang

Rabren International Pvt. Ltd., has lately ventured into two wheeler market by introducing four versions of Yingang brand of motorcycles – YG 100-7, YG 125-4, YG 150-5 and YG 150-8 – manufactured by Chognqing Yingang Energy Saving Motorcycle Co. Ltd.

All the four models boast of disk brake, kick/self/remote starting system and cooling radiation as prominent features.

Besides, external oil cooling of the engine, digital gear display, and fuel saving technology are the other most specified characteristics of these newly introduced bikes, according to sources within the company.

All versions promise fuel efficiency of 100 km/L and the prices of the bikes are Rs. 79,750, Rs. 97,900, Rs. 1,20,000 and Rs. 1,35,000 respectively, inform the company sources.

Yingang bikes are ISO 9001 certified and have been awarded for outstanding fuel saving technology, claims Rabren International.

Yet Another Noodle

Himalayan Snax and Noodles (P) Ltd., the manufacturer of Mayos and Hurray brand of noodles, has introduced another noodle in the Nepali market called Ru-Chee.

Priced at Rs 10 a pack, the new noodles’ marketing slogan in to Nepali reads ‘Ru-Chee chaina, kehi chaina’

The noodles, according to the company, primarily targets school going children and is also backed by a strong distribution channel.
