Himalayan Distillery (HD), which only in the recent past opened its shares for public subscription, has introduced Ruslan White vodka and Seagram's Imperial Blue whisky into the Nepali bazaar.

According to the distillery, which is a sister organization of Jawalakhel Distillery Pvt. Ltd., the new vodka and whisky are available in three size packs of 750 ml, 375 ml and 180ml.

Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt. Ltd. has lately launched three bikes – Boxer CT, Aspire and Eliminator – form the stable of Kawasaki Bajaj of India.

The Boxer CT boasts of a 35/35w opto-prism headlamp with laser sharp focus. Also equipped with Radical Alluminium Combustion Engine (or R.A.C.E. technology), the bike promises fuel efficiency of 87 km to a litre. The Boxer CT comes with a one year warranty and is priced at Rs 76,000.

Carrying a two year warranty, the 110% bike Aspire, the 111.6 cc bike with 7.7 bhp engine is said to give that extra boost. The bike’s special dual oil filter, in addition to an all-alluminium engine, is claimed to ensure trouble-free performance. Like the Boxer CT, the Aspire too possesses front disc brakes, and is priced Rs 88,900.

Every component in the Eliminator is said to be engineered to meet international specifications. Equipped with electric/ kick start system, the bike also boasts of a 5-step adjustable rear-shock absorber for smooth rides. The Eliminator also has front disc brakes and is priced Rs 1,74,000.

Santro’s New Version

With the onset of the festival season, AVCO International, the sole distributor of Korean automaker Hyundai Motors in Nepal, has introduced new Santro in the kingdom.

The four versions, namely LE (non A/C), LE, LS and GS, come with a facelift and new price tags, informs AVCO. The prices stand at respectively Rs 8,58,000, Rs 9,41600, Rs 10,20,800 and Rs 10,83,700, it adds.

AVCO International has also thrown in a festival offer, promising a 10 gm gold coin on every purchase of Santro car.

New Soda in Market

The recently concluded consumer fair Kathmandu Utsav saw Asian Drinks (P) Ltd. introduce Soda Siphony into the Nepali market.

Available in 300ml bottles, Soda Siphony is priced at Rs 10, Asian Drinks informs.

The company further reveals that Soda Siphony is produced by passing ultra pure water into carbonation where pure carbondioxide is also introduced under certain pressure. The company adds that the dissolution of carbondioxide in ultra pure water takes place which is then filled and bottled into hygienic pet bottles.

Sarada into Bikes

The Sarada Group has decided to play its role in the flood of Chinese bikes, very lately launching three models of bikes from Chunkuing Loncin Group of China.

All three models – Slimmer, Custom and Terminator-boast of 5 gear system , hydrolic disk brakes and electric / kick start system.

Slimmer and Custom, informs the group, are available with 125cc engines whereas the Terminator is featured with 150cc displacements. It also reveals that the price of the two-wheelers range from Rs. 93,700 to Rs.137,700

Claimed to be leading the automobile market since last 30 years, 50 models of the Loncin brand are said to be available in 78 countries including Nepal, with growing demand in America and Europe.

Mini Bus from China

South Asian Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Jiangsu Mudan Group Co. Ltd., China, has launched 23 seater mini bus of model MD 6601 with powerful 3856CC diesel engine. The bus, complete with factory-built body is said to be one of the best in quality and luxury, claims the company. The bus is also said to be very suitable for Nepalese roads.

According to South Asian Trading, the new model of Mudan mini bus has been introduced following the successful running of the first lot. It also says that it will to bring in more models of the bus very shortly.

JoJo From Pokhara

Pokhara Noodles Pvt. Ltd has come up with another new brand of noodles, Jojo. The noodles, according to the manufacturer, is available in some of the towns of eastern part of the country like Biratnagar, Birtamod and Dharan and also in some places in the west.

Available in chicken flavor and priced at Rs 10 per pack, no compromise in quality of production has been made, claims the company. Jojo also offers a chocolate in every packet as introductory coupon.

Summit’s Battle

Three more models of Chinese bikes, manufactured by Tianjnin Fushida Motorcycle Making Co. Ltd. in collaboration with Taiwan’s Kwang Yang Motor Co. Ltd, have very recently made their entry into Nepali market under the brand name Battle and market slogan. "Battle Bike for Battle People".

According to Summit Trade Link, the sole agent of the bikes in Nepal, the two models of the bikes-BT 100-29 and BT 100-7 - are available in 100cc categories while the third model, BT 125-26, in 125cc.

All categories of the two-wheelers feature single cylindered four stroke engines and are also equipped with self/kick start system and a gear displaying meter in rotary system, relates Summit Trade Link.

It also informs the launch of a unique introductory scheme of offering various gifts such as TV, VCD etc.
