New Product Range from Philips

Jyoti Group subsidiary Syakar Company Ltd. very lately introduced a whole new range of products from global electronic giant, Philips.

The star products launched include consumer electronic items such as VCD Multi –Hi –fi systems FW – V720, FW – V320, FW – V220 and VCD Micro System MC – 55. According to Syakar, the authorized dealer of Philips, these VCD players are featured with Philips patented woof technology which ensures the highest Accustic Bass energy. The launch also saw the introduction of the world’s first MP3 in Mini Hifi System.

Syankar also introduced a wide variety of CTVs, ranging from real flat colour TVs and normal TVs in 50Hz and 100 Hz to the 42'’ flat Plasma TV and projection TVs ranging from 43'’ to 55'’. The company claims that Philips has brought a breakthrough in 100 Hz digital technology with the new Matchline TV 29PT 9418 DNM-Pro which feature all latest Philips digital innovations.

Syakar also launched audio products like CD Hifi system, and digital video products ranging from portable to multi disc full-featured models.

Philips’ authorized dealer informs that the electronic giant, which has presence in about 60 nations worldwide employing some 2,26,900 people, has annual sales amounting to over US$ 30 billion.

Chituma in Valley

Gurans Business System has very recently made two models of Chinese Chituama bikes, CTM 150-5 and cTM 150, available in Nepal.

The bikes, according to a company source, are joint production of Zing Zang Company of China and Suzuki Company of Japan.

The most prominent characteristic of the bikes are said to be the pushrud system rare in other brands, which usually have chemchain system.

According to the source, the bikes are also featured with 5 gear (round system), disk brake and kick electric start system.

The 150 cc bikes are priced at Rs. 1,50,000 and Rs. 1,40,000 and are available in four different colours, says the company.

Sharp Launches More Products

Touchstone Sales & Services Pvt. Ltd. (TSS), the sole agent for SHARP products for the kingdom of Nepal, has launched more models of Color Television and VCD/CD Music System manufactured by SHARP CORPORATION.

First in the list is 14AP1S – 14" CTV with multi system. For those bored with the regular casings of either black or silver, then this Sharp model boosts of colourful casing and the available color are Techno Silver, Fusion Pink, Pop Orange, Jaxy Blue and New Age Green, informs TSS. The other added features are game mode, high quality picture, headphone jack terminals puts the product as the only one of its kind in 14" CTVs.

Second is the introduction of 20U250M – 20" CTV which again, says the company, is a revolution in its category due to the look and added features. It boasts of AV Stereo, AVL (sound keeper) function, rear subwoofer terminal with surround system and tweeter with Sharp’s high quality picture.

Next is the latest addition to the list of VCD Mini Compo System - the CD-BK310V – Sharp’s latest VCD/CD Music System. The system has a new ‘side firing’ built-in powered subwoofers which, says TSS, gives the product on entirely different look. The system is said to include. PMPO 2500W, 3-VCD/MP3/CD drawer changer, bi-amplifier, karaoks function to name a few of its features.

Syakar Co. Ltd., the authorized dealer of Hero Hondo Motors Ltd. in Nepal, has introduced Hero Honda Joy in the competitive two-wheeler market of Nepal.

The Joy, the latest version of Hero Honda, is claimed to be designed for comfort and boasts of several unique features.

According to company sources, Joy has a newly designed round headlight with multi-reflector and a 35 watt bulb for brighter light, better focus and sturdy look, and also sports a multi-reflector tail light.

Another notable feature of the 97.2cc engine bike includes unique suspension that absorbs bumps on unkind roads which protects the bike, and shields the rider form discomfort. The bike is also said to have improved fuel tank capacity of 10.5 liters and tubular double cradle frame which imparts extra stability and strength. Joy, the sources say, meets the Indian 2000 Emission Norms. The bike, priced at Rs. 86,500, is available in different colours.

Nidhi Introduces Tea

Bearing the marketing slogan ‘drink with love’, Mangal Food Production (P) Ltd. has very recently launched Nidhi CTC Tea into the Nepali market which, the company claims, is gaining positive feedback from customers.

Available in different sizes from pouch to pack and pack to jar – the price of the CTC tea ranges from Rs 5 to Rs 125.

Nidhi CTC tea, said to be 100% pure and fresh from the company’s own tea garden, is determined to fulfill the growing demands in the Nepali tea market, claim company sources.

New Chocolates

Kwality Confectionery Pvt. Ltd, has just introduced two brands of candy chocolates, Sumo Lacto and XS, into the Nepali market.

Claimed to be manufactured under German technology the chocolates constitute sugar, glucose, butter, honey, cheese and other raw material in proper proportion, the company sources state. They inform that while Sumo Lacto is based in milk taste, XS candy boasts of unique mixed fruits flavour of lemon, pineapple, mango and orange.

Kwality Confectionery also informs that the products have been launched in Eastern Terai region apart from Kathmandu valley and that it is to launch its products in major cities Butwal Bhairawa, Birgunj, Pokhara and Narayangadh in the near feature.

'A' Class Sundiro Motorbike

Emphasizing on 'A' class engine with computerized technology, Mandela Overseas Super Trading Pvt. Ltd. has very lately introduced Sundiro brand of motorbike. The bike, the company informs, are manufactured by Sundiro Company of China in joint venture with leading Japan's Kawasaki Company.

The most focused specifications, of the 4-stroked bike, are single cylinder cum air cooled engine, front and rear shock reducers, wide rear wheel and front disk brake.

Fuel efficiency of around 50 km/l, electric and kick start system and a sophisticated outlook are said to be additional features of this 125cc bike.

The bike, according to company sources, holds 9001 quality certificate and also 14001 international environment control, and is priced Rs. 1,11,500.

Sundro Company is said to have been awarded with "Golden Bridge Prize", in China in recognition of outstanding sale in the country.
