President, Nepal Foreign Trade Association, condemning the act of Nepal Rastra Bank for issuing Business Credibility Information (BCI). Traders trading with third world countries in more than US$ 1500 through LCs are required to obtain the BCI.

"The package is expected to attract a considerable number of Indian tourists."

Narendra Bajracharya,
President, Hotel Association of Nepal, talking about the comprehensive tourism package recently implemented to revive the downsliding tourism industry.

"Being a country that has been assisting Nepal in her development efforts, US should take the issue (of granting Nepali garments duty-free access into the American market) seriously and positively."

Kiran Saakha,
First Vice President, Garment Association of Nepal. Garment entrepreneurs were hopeful that the visit of US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, would enable Nepali garments obtain duty-free access in the American Market.

"The response is far better than last year, during which over 600 forms were filled for our institution. This year, over a thousand aspirant students filled the forms paying Rs 100 for each."
