Voila from Cube Inter Continental

Cube Inter continental, the authorized dealer of Indian automaker giant Eicher International Ltd, has lately begun marketing the Voila brand of bus in the Nepali market.

The 3298cc voila has made its entry by emphasizing pre-coated GI stretch panels construction, split skirt panel and pre-cleaner for cleaner air-intake as some of the striking technical features.

The voila is beautiful not only both outside and inside, but also in terms of economy.

The bus, with the wheel base of 3760mm and comfortable seating configuration, possess seat capacity of 38 persons.

The bus is equipped with strong body cell for safety and is ideal for long tour and academic institution, and is priced at Rs 14,75,000.

Voila is backed up with specialized after sales service and genuine spares.


AVCO introduces Santa Fe

AVCO International, the authorized agent of Korean automobile giant Huyndai, has recently made the Santa Fe brand of vehicle available in Nepal.

The 2351cc Santa Fe incorporates world class safety design features such as second generation depowered air bags and an optimized steel safety cell for protection.

Full-time 4WD system for maximum control, Double Differential Unit (DDU) to ensure maximum stability under adverse road conditions and 4 wheel disc brakes are some of the major technical specifications of the newly introduced vehicle.

The 2.4-litre engine is powerful, economical and dependable, and of course Santa Fe offers the optional 2.7-litre DOHC Delta engine which features an all-aluminum cylinder block and head.

The vehicle, which is equipped with digital multimeter system and full automatic climate control system has modern sculpture and other sophistications as audio systems.

The Santa Fe is priced at Rs 33,50,000.


KIA’s Pregio

Continental Trading Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has very recently launched two cargo and one passenger van models in RHD version, under the brand name ‘Pregio’, from KIA Motors of South Korea.

RS cargo models come in 3-or-6 passenger version and passenger model carries 12 passenger (RS, GS) and feature a reversible middle row and fold up back row for flexible seating and cargo handling.

In the passenger series, the microbus in standard model is for public commuters while micro van (deluxe model) is basically for tourism entrepreneurs and joint family.

Simultaneously, Cargo van can be used for commercial-cum-household purposes to carry heavy goods.

The price ranges of vehicles are 1,650,000, 1,900,000 and 1,350,000 respectively.

The average fuel efficiency of vehicles is 12km/per litre.


Samsonite’s new Products

One of the global giants in the luggage markets, US-based Samsonite Corporation, has lately introduced its new products-Cruisair and Flite in Nepal.

The products of Samsonite, which claims to cover around 60 percent share in the Nepali luggage market, has now reached 86 which includes the recently launched products.

Samsonite items are reasonably priced, highly qualitative, light and durable. And especially designed for traveller and brand conscious persons.

There are 15 Samsonite outlets in Nepal, and the company is planning to set up of a state-of-art manufacturing plant in Terai, according to the sources.

Samsonite has been carrying out its business in Nepal since the last one and half years, is now going to run two internationally formatted retail shops in Kathmandu.


Mechi and Uday Shree Tea in an attractive jar

Uday Shree Tea Industry Pvt. Ltd, the oldest tea packing Industry of the Himalayan Kingdom, has been ruling the tea market with its brands like Mechi Special Tea, Uday Shree Special Tea and Mechi Tea bags. Cheapest Bike in Town

To cater to the needs and affordability of the lower middle class family, Star International Ltd, the authorized dealer of Starway brand of motorbike, has lately come up with Nanfan brand.

The 100cc NF 100-2, is specially designed for people who want to graduate into motorcycles from bicycles, and thus provide financing scheme for motorcycles.

Bearing the punch line-’The most affordable bike in town’ Nanfan projects air-cooled, SOHC vertical engine, elegant dashboard with gear indicator as is prime features.

Star International, which was established in 1995 has one of the highest stock of spare parts for all old and new Japanese, Chinese and Indian vehicles including their own.

Besides motorbikes and spares, the company also deals with Robin generators and water pumps, mini-cultivator and power spray.

The company is soon to launch the scheme on its product by offering air-conditioner, washing machine, refrigerator and color TV to its customers.


Syakar Launches Cars

Syakar Co. Ltd., a unit of Jyoti Group, has recently come up with 4 brands of Honda Car – Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Car – Jeep Hi- bred Honda – CRV in Nepal.

The smallest Honda City displacement 1300cc manual transmission with full options is priced at Rs 21,25,000 whereas medium sized Honda Civic displacement 1500cc with full option (except rudio cassette) manual transmission costs Rs 24,80,000.

Similarly, the 2000cc large sized Honda Accord has made its entrance with automatic transmission and full options and costs Rs 39,80,000.

Lastly, the 2000cc car-jeep Hi-bred Honda CRV is a high ground clearance vehicle with full options, automatic transmission and, priced at Rs 38,80,000.

Fuel efficiency, safety air bag, power steering, amazing flat floor, powerful AC and sound pick-up are the vividly projected salient features of the vehicles.


Royal Enfield to Hit the Market

A new bike is seen on the streets of Kathmandu. It has just been launched by Agni Incorporated. Royal Enfield Motors is part of the Rs.1,000 crore Eicher Group of companies.
