Sunrise Homes: A living style of 21st Century

At a time when the Kathmandu Valley is severely suffering from random construction, the concept of planned construction is becoming more and more relevant, the business of organized housing complex is gradually becoming competitive and professional.

Jaypee Buland in Market

Jaypee Cement Limited, India, has formally launched its new product under the brand name ‘Jaypee Buland’ in Nepali market.

The newly introduced cement product is claimed to have the unique features and properties as higher compressive strength (more than 53 grade), higher blain for strong and durable concrete, cracklers construction with anti-rust capabilities.

Due to special mixture and refined process for production of the cement, heat of hydration is very low. Besides the concrete made with Buland is anti-corrosion and compact, hence no cracks are developed in construction, claim the company sources.

Durability, strength and economy are highlighted as other salent specifications of the product.

Jaypee cement Limited, which is a flagship of India’s leading civil engineering company, claims to cover nearly 30% market share among all the Indian cemer brands imported in Nepal. And, annually 3,00,000 tonne of cement is said to be imported in Nepal.


International Standard to Nepalese Industry

Namokar Cable Industry Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded ISO-9001: 2000 certification from International Certification Service (Asia) Pvt. Ltd for its quality product. International Certification Service (Asia) Pvt Ltd is recognized by the world famous company JAS-ANZ of Australia and New Zealand.

The company is the first to get this certificate in Nepal in UPVC pipe and PVC duct manufacturing industry. Similarly, electricity wire, telecommunication wire, auto cable, pear cable, PVC pipe, PVC duct and profile etc manufactured by the company are of international standard and are able to compete in the international market.

Manufacturer of Nepal’s first PVC flooring tiles, Supreme Pipe and Elide Industries, have been successful in getting ISO-9001:2000 certificate for its quality product and management.

This certificate was given by the ICS (International Certification Services, Asia) of joint institute of Australia and New Zealand JAS-ANZ after examining all the data and activities of the company.


Syakar's Honda Car 3(S) Showroom

At a moment when the race between different four wheeler brands to rule the roast in Nepali marketing is becoming more and more stiff, Syakar Company limited has recently established Honda Car 3 (S) showroom at Dhobighat, Ringroad.

The construction of the 3(S) facility has been done with the aim to have all three aspects of car business in one place namely sales, service and spares. Besides, ample extra space has been allotted for the customers to try out the cars, relates the company.

Inaugurating the showroom, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Zenji Kaminaga remarked that automobile sector is the major pulling factor of Japanese economy contributed by giants as Honda, Toyota, among others. Nepal can improve her economic indicator by focusing on the trade of automobile, he added.

Syakar Co. Ltd, which boasts to cover 40% share in the Nepali motorbike market has been dealing with the motorbike manufactured by Honda Motors company for last 34 years.

Syakar, which also deals with other products from Honda Company as generator water pumps, has made four brands of Car available in the newly inaugurated showroom.

In 2001, Honda Company has claimed to sold 5.1 million motorbikes and 2.7 million automobile globally.
