Suraj Vaidya, President-cum-Managing Director of Vaidya’s Organization of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH) is a man involved with various enterprises and associations.
Vaidya did his Masters in Business Administration from George Mason University USA on International Affairs and started his business career in 1984 as Director of VOITH. He is also associated with SAARC Chamber of Tourism Council Committee as Executive Chairman. His accomplishments also include being the Executive Member of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nepal-India Joint Economic Council, Nepal-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Director of Industrial District Management Board and as Advisor of the Federation of Nepalese Football Association. Sanjiv Puri, graduate from IIT Kanpur, is the General Manager of Surya Tobacco Company Pvt. Ltd. Largely experienced in the field of manufacturing, supply chain of management and E Commerce, he had also worked as the head of E Commerce for ITC based in Kolkata, which was also his last assignment. Puri who is in his late thirties was associated with ITC for about sixteen years and also had a brief stint with TELCO for six months.
Rajendra Bahadur Singh has been appointed to the post of Acting General Manager (Corporate Affairs) of the Kantipur Publications Pvt. Ltd. Involved in advertisement management business for a decade, Singh had been working as a Corporate Consultant at the Publications for the past one-year. Bhawani Devi Sharma has been appointed as a new General Manager of Nepal Bank Ltd. She was earlier Acting General Manager of the bank. L.D. Sharma is the newly appointed General Manager of United Breweries (Nepal) Pvt. Ltd. Prior to this, was Territorial Development Manager of Pepsi Cola (Nepal). Ms. Geeta Jetley who was the General Manager at the Fulbari Resort & Spa has resigned from her post. Till now no one has stepped into her shoes. R.K. Rawat has been appointed as the Commercial Director of Thompson Nepal. Before joining IUCN project he was working with Seti Cigarette Factory Ltd. |
