Though the number of house in Kathmandu valley and other parts of the country has been increasing, the price of real estate has come down. Why? Gorkha army and people workd abroad used to purchase the land at high price in the past. But the trend has changed. "They, now, prefer to invest in industries, says Ganesh Ghimire, a real estate agent. Official in the Ministry of Housing says that the people may not find holding the immovable property profitable anymore. Kedar Bahadur Adhikary of Dillibazar Real Estate says not only the selling of the real estate but also the price has come down. The budget to be presented on Sunday will make necessary legal amendments to plug up the legal lapses.
