TITTLE TATTLE

Tittle Tattle

Basically, designed to attack capitalism, May Day or Labour Day celebration did cause enough labour pains to Kathmanduites, by way of hours long traffic jams and diversions. One really wonders why it is the people who  always gets rubbed the wrong way?

***

No one else but the weak administration can be blamed for the deteriorating law and order situation in the country. And Tattler is not talking of the Maoists alone. The chakka jams, impromptu bandhs and on the spot brick and bats, all point to this. Anyone who was around Tundikhel area and also near the International Conventional Centre on Monday evening can vouch for this.

***

The will it come, won’t it come suspense of the IA flights may be over soon. Tattler was told by a NC big wig that the flight resumption could take place within a week! If nobody else, the Nepalese tourism entrepreneurs should breathe a sigh of relief, if this indeed is true.

***

If the stream of gases passed by the over eating meditators were to be filled in a balloon, it would be enough for a valley ride. But, let out in a meditation hall, it was most unwelcome - let alone the discomfiture felt by the olfactory senses of other meditators trying hard to maintain their composure.
