TITTLE TATTLE |
The proposal to prefix the name Anoop before the Sanu Gauchar Rangasala is being floated by the Lazimpat Club. All sports lovers and otherwise should push the proposal to remember one of the countrys colourful sports personality. Incidentally, it has been six months since Anoop Rana passed away. Time is the best healer. *** A new and natural contraceptive: a visit to the maternity ward in Prasuti Griha. The ambiance is enough to sterilise you, out of choice, that is. *** It was Traffic Week and Tattler was not surprised to see an "alert" traffic cop making mince meat of a motorcyclist near the Indian Embassy gate. The helmet clad youngster had not only come the wrong way in a one way street, but did not have his license as well. So far so good, but it was really dismaying to see a police officer come the same wrong way and get away scot free, more annoyingly, with a smart salute to boot from the traffic on duty! And disturbingly, he was still holding on to the poor ordinary motorcyclist. *** Still on the cops, was surprised to read a news report, saying three men had been arrested with two girls in their room for indulging in "immoral activities". If the cops start looking for such immoral acts, that also inside private rooms, then they may find more than they bargained for. Have they the guts to peep into rooms of other than those belonging to the poor dancing girls? *** Furthermore, like mentioned by a journalist friend, dont the police have enough work in their hands, to not engage themselves in private affairs of consenting adults? *** The Finance Minister must be delighted. Staff at a small office in Dhading promised not take any bribe after the increment in their salaries. Tattler is straining its ears to hear similar promises from the high level civil servants, as they have benefitted the most from the pay hike. No? |
