One ministry that is sure to get the axe is the Ministry of Sports, Youth & Culture. As in yesteryears, Education Ministry will take sports and youth under its wings and the Tourism Ministry, culture. Wonder if the country’s sporting circle will take the decision to be a sporty one!

The 72nd Academy Awards — Hollywood’s biggest show comprised of winners, losers, wannabes, has-beens or plain no-hopers. That Nepal’s maiden entry Caravan lost out on Oscar night should not prove to be depressing. The challenge lies in getting up every time one falls.

Giving  bottles (of drinks) to get  news published! My, that could only happen in this country of Suras (drinks available anywhere and everywhere) and the perennially intoxicated. Asuras (demons) down under (hell, my dear!) must be having their last laugh!

Of late many of our respected columnists have inked  their  complaints. That their pieces are not taken note of, read nor respected. Tattler wonders who is to be blamed for this? May be it is time that our learned columnists work towards commanding respect, rather than demanding one.
