LEFT: Madhav Kumar Rimal, Chief Editor and Publisher of SPOTLIGHT Weekly Newsmagazine, for the United States, along with his wife, for medical treatment. 

A delegation of Nepalese journalists led by Taranath Dahal, president, Federation of Nepalese Journalists, for Sikkim, India, to take part in a program. 

RETURNED: Madhav Kumar Nepal, general secretary of Unified Marxist-Leninist, and leaders Bharat Mohan Adhikary and Jhal Nath Khanal, after completing a week-long visit to India. 

DIED: Indu Prakash Singh, 71, Indian ambassador to Nepal, of tongue cancer, while undergoing treatment in London. 

AWARDED: Nepal Professors Association, with the Basudev Chandra Malla Award 2002, in honor of all the professors, by Basudev Chandra Malla Memorial Foundation. 

HONORED: Balram Thapa, senior cartoonist, jointly by Society of Nepalese Artists and Cartoonists' Club of Nepal, for his contribution to society.
