Govinda Gajurel, director at the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training as member-secretary of the council for a four-year term. 

ELECTED: Chitiz Arun, founder of the Sports Nepal Olympic Museum as president by its annual general assembly.

Dr. J.P. Agrawal, as chairman of Nepal Epilepsy Society. 

Rajendra Khetan as president of Nepal Insurance Association by the second annual general meeting.

LEFT: A two-member delegation led by Bishnu Bahadur KC, Auditor-General, for Caracas, Venezuela, to take part in a program organized by International Organization of Supreme Auditing Institutions. 

DIED: Madan Raj Joshi, former general manager of Nepal Stock Exchange, at the age of 56. 

RESIGNED: Hiranya Lal Shrestha, from ordinary membership of the CPN-UML, citing differences with the leadership.
