RECEIVED: Letters of credence from ambassadors-designate of Tunisia and Syria to the Kingdom of Nepal, Elyes Kasri and Dr. Mohsen Al-Khayer respectively, by His Majesty the King. 

APPOINTED: Professor Dr. Panna Kaji Amatya, as a member of Tribhuvan University Service Commission, by His Majesty the King in his capacity as the chancellor of the university. 

Professor Dr. Chuda Raj Upreti, president of the Tribhuvan University Service Commission, as the president of Royal Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (RONAST) Service Commission as well, by the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba in his capacity as the chancellor of the RONAST. 

Revati Raj Kafle, joint secretary at the National Planning Commission (NPC) Secretariat, as the spokesperson of the NPC, by the government.

FORMED: A 501-member auspicious birthday celebration citizens' main committee, under the chairmanship of ex-prime minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand, to celebrate the 56th auspicious birthday of His Majesty the King. 

ISSUED: The Foreign Ministry, order to all those holding a diplomatic passport to return the document to the ministry within 35 days.
