RETURNED: Bhakta Bahadur Balayar, immediate past minister of state for science and technology, from an official visit to Japan. 

Narayan Prakash Saud, immediate past minister of state for education and sports, from Busan, South Korea.

DECLARED: Ghatasthapana, October 7, as a public holiday, by the government.
