LEFT: A team of 120 Armed Police personnel, under the command of Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhishma Kanta Aryal, for Liberia, to take part in the UN peace-keeping mission. 

A team of 205 Royal Nepalese Army personnel, led by major Dilip Bikram Rana, for Sierra Leone, on peace-keeping operation. 

RETURNED: A team of 205 Royal Nepalese Army personnel, led by major Laxman Thapa, after completing their tenure in Sierra Leone peace-keeping operation.  

APPOINTED: Mahendra Bahadur Karki, as the chairman of the Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, by the government.  

FORMED: A 533-member National Citizens Main Organizing Committee, headed by Kishori Mahato, to celebrate the 33rd auspicious birthday of Crown Prince Paras Bir Bikram Shah Dev.
