at Lamapatan in Pokhara. SUSPENDED:
Dharanidhar Khatiwada, Chief District Officer of Parsa district, by the
government. TRANSFERRED:
Bijaya Raj Bhattarai, Secretary at the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management,
to additional pool, by the government. PROMOTED:
Three Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) including Rabi Shrestha,
Dipendra Bista and Ramesh Shrestha, to the post of Deputy
Inspector General (DIG), by the government. FORMED:
A three-member committee, to recommend candidate for the post of Governor of Nepal Rastra
Bank (NRB), the central bank, for the next five years. The committee is headed by Deputy
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikary and includes Dr.
Badri Prasad Shrestha, former finance minister, and Ganesh Bahadur Thapa,
former governor. AWARDED: Fifteen lawyers, with the title of senior advocate, by the Supreme Court. The lawyers include Attorney General Mahadev Yadav, Bishwa Kanta Mainali, Radhe Shyam Adhikary, Shree Hari Aryal, Basanta Ram Bhandari, Shyam Kharel, Khem Narayan Dhungana, Jugal Kishore, Kishore Adhikary, Bishwa Nath, Mahendra Singh, Kamal Joshi, Nagendra Bhakta Shrestha and Sushila Karki. |
