APPOINTED: Prof. Dr. Mahesh Khakurel, as the Executive Director of Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) Executive Council of the TUTH. 

FORMED: A six-member high level probe committee under the chairmanship of former Justice of Supreme Court Top Bahadur Singh, to probe and suggest punishment for the vandalism of September 1, in the Capital. 

A probe committee headed by Pratap Kumar Pathak, director general of the Department of Labor and Employment Promotion, to investigate the vandalism in offices of manpower agencies.   

AWARDED: Ananta Prasad Wagle of Kavre, Babi Thapa of Makwanpur and Mukunda Acharya of Bara, by Bhanumati Poetry Festival Award for this year, by Sita Ram Academy.
