Unlike other scholars, Panta had never compromised with his views and he always stood for the cause of truth. Panta started the Gurukul system of education in Sanskrit and some of his students, though they don't have formal academic certificate, proved high-level efficiency and caliber.
As a life member of Royal Nepal Academy , late Panta spent almost all his life in research and scholarly works. Whatever the political systems or the government came to power, it did not make any difference to Panta's dedication. Thanks to the effort of editor Shesh Raj Shivakoti, couples of books have already been published highlighting his contribution tot the Nepalese history, language and culture.
