Due to the frequent closures, the courses are not moving forward Master Anish Pokhrel, Student F.W Taylor Management Academy
TGQ1 : How you take the intermittent closures of the educational institutions organized by the Maoists affiliated students grouping? How has such closures affected your studies? Anish: The activity like the closures of educational institutes called by the Maoists is bringing some problems in the students daily life. I don' know why and what is the main objective behind the closures of educational institutes by Maoists affiliated students grouping? But I want to say that these activities are disturbing the students and also their studies are being badly affected. Due to the closures, the courses are not moving forward. This may create a great problem for students in future. As we all are aware that we students are the future of the country but if such activities or crisis takes place frequently then there is no future of the students and the country. Reducing fee structure is good but yet the closures affect studies Ms. Namrata Pokhrel , Student Angel Hearts School
TGQ2: This time revolutionary students forced the various school management to scale down their fee structure, which apparently should have eased the finances burden of the low middle class income families. How would you explain this with interruption in your studies? Ms. Namrata: We are all aware of the fact that that some revolutionary students are trying to reduce the fee structure. This is a good work but the way they have adopted to get their demands met with is wrong. Due to their activities many problems are created. The students are not getting their classes and also they are getting late for their studies. Although they are helping the low income generating family to get off from the burden of high fees but we cannot forget the other fact they are also hampering the studies of students. So, I think that they must find other way so that there may be no hamper in the educational field. Maoists activities has hit various sectors Ms. Ankita Dahal, Student Nepal Science Campus
TGQ3: How has the student in Katmandu coming from other parts of the kingdom feel the impact of Maoists sponsored closure of educational institutions? Your comments please! Ms.Ankita: Maoists have become the major problem of the country .Not only the educational institutes but also it has badly affected in many other fields. Well, in that case we can say that the closure of educational institutions sponsored by the Maoists for 10 to 15 days had a bad affect on the students coming from other parts of the country. Their study has been hampered to large extent. To get the good standard of education many students come from different parts of the country. But due to this crisis they are unable to continue their studies and their courses cannot move forward if these all activities continue. I don't think they will be able to get good results and as a consequence it is not only the loss of the students but also the loss of the country as we all are aware of the fact that we students are the future of the country. Education does not worth of the money our parents pay Mr. Sandarva, Student National Institute Of Science And Technology
TGQ4: Some say that the mushroom growth of boarding schools and higher educational institutes in the country is guided by the sole motive of spinning money from the students. Are you satisfied with the education you have been given with the fees your parents are paying for you? Mr. Sandarva: Obviously not. The private educational institutes ask for money much higher than actually needed for providing a good standard of education. They ask a huge amount of money as donation for admissions. They take many extra activities charges, which are not so useful. They do not provide a good standard of education as we pay them for. Nowadays the educational institutions main motive has changed from providing education to profit making. Frequent closures affect the future of the students Machindra Pandey, Bijaya Memorial High School, Kathmandu
TGQ5: What do you think this closure will have an effect on students appearing for the forth coming SLC examination ? Machindra: As I frequently hear in the radio and Television that students are considered to be the future of the nation. But some dont tend to agree with this statement for their own reasons. Personally, what I fell is appearing for the SLC examination and passing the exam will be a great honor to me. But with these frequent closures and Bund organized by the students themselves, we will not be able to complete the courses on time and hence it will have an adverse effect at time when I will appear. If any thing goes wrong with me then who will come forward to take the responsibility? Will the students organising the bunds come to show their sympathy for me and for all those who have been hit hard? I doubt! The message should be loud and clear. I hereby suggest the students sponsoring the bunds to feel the pains of their own brethren. |
