Dear editor, I am currently residing in Australia and I looking at the news, I am very worried about the problem that the nation is facing currently. Whom to blame for the current happenings? Is it the political parties that are not devoting much in regard of issue that is happening or someone else is behind the scene. Why is king not taking any step towards stablizing the problem. As I read in Mr. Joshis interview, I was very impressed with one of his saying that Nepal is the one to send peace keeping troops in different region of the world and there is no need of third party mediation in solving the nations problem. But the big question is that why is maoists not ready to have a negotiation sitting in front of the table? Is there a hand of any third nation in ruling the maoists now this can be felt because what the maoist leader Prachanda said is that it was not his order to create such a violence in the country but how can such illeterate nepalese who are in maoists can do such a damage in their own country killing their own brothers and sisters. Also why are the political parties instead of going to India to have a talk regarding the problem, stay in the country and find out what are the socio economic problem that the nation is facing and how to solve them why dont they have mind or ability to think about such matter. If such persons are ruling the country then what is the use of such leaders. Ill tell u what, nepal has got lot of leaders but there aint nobody that can act as leader of the leader. Why cant the leaders keep some issues secret instead of revealing in front of the whole world saying we have a problem. If the political leaders do so then who have got the confidence. In regard to very small matters also the leaders will visit India or some other countries to have a talk to the leaders over there. Why is all this happening. Well I am just a student who is studying accounting taking economics and statistics as the major subject. So I revealed my feelings in front of you because reading everyday news feels like I am dying over here suffocating in Australia but what to do coming over there without finishing the studies my opportunity cost is high if I come over there. That what every neplease thinks every one staying overseas thinks the same. The only thing is that all they can hear in the news is talk is going to be held some political leader is going to some country to have a talk.... there is no news saying that this leader did one good thing or implied one policy which proved out to be beneficial. Thankx for the time and hope to hear from you soon. I will really feel that I am a loser if I cant do anything to my hometown. Doesnt matter if I am staying overseas the ideas can be presented via different electonic means within fractio of seconds. Yours sincerely Suman Upadhyaya |
