S E C O N D   I M P R E S S I O N

With malice to none
Don’t disturb the intelligent brains of Girija and Madhav Babu

Girija Babu and Madhav Nepal must not know what was happening in the countryside. They must not understand the problems and the issues that the silent majority of this country is facing out in the villages and the districts. The two illustrious leaders must not know the plight of the women in the districts and the villages where their own voters have been mistreating the women folks and branding the latter as witches. Not surprising then when one elderly women in Mr. Nepal’s constituency only recently was maltreated and not very surprisingly then our die-hard communist leader remained a silent spectator on the event that tentatively rocked his own constituency.

Madhav Nepal fortunately is busy in giving a new shape to this country which is in the current shape perhaps due to his own follies, politically speaking.

Girija Babu must feel honored when two of his own clan members appear shielding a rapist in Biratnagar who used to rape the innocent girl not even at 10 by the house owner where she was stationed. The two illustrious members of his clan are supposedly two medical practitioners in Biratnagar who have vowed to provide a clean chit to the rapist. Perhaps a close connection in between the rapist and the local congress. No body should tell this to Girija Babu because he is hell bent on cutting down the size of the constitutional monarch and restore people’s sovereignty.

Girija Babu must not be told as to how a lady in the western region had to embrace the profession of prostitution for her own livelihood. Girija Babu and Madhav Nepal must not be told as to how and who forced the once prestigious lady to embrace this ugly profession of flesh trade. The two leaders must not be told these facts simply because they have vowed to bring the derailed constitution to its original track for the derailment of which the two contributed their mite from their respective sides in the past.

Girija Babu and Madhav Nepal must not be told about the untold sufferings of the commuters who happen to use the now torn and battered Highways for their exit from Kathmandu to their homes in far-flung districts in the west and the east. Madhav Nepal and Girija Babu must not be told about the killings of the Nepali poor in the remote mountains due to the landslides. They must not be told, as they are busy in framing a new picture of Nepal.

Fortunately, it is the Japanese, Americans, the French, the EU, the U.K and even the Indians who appear more concerned about the deteriorating situation of this country than our illustrious leaders, Madhav and Girija. It is not a matter of shame for our leaders because it doesn’t amount to that for the act has been committed by the two who have vowed to rewrite the destiny of the country, for the disfigurement of which these two certainly have their contributions. Honestly speaking, Girija must not be placed in the second rank. Madhav Nepal is suitable for the second rank.

The country is on the verge of a war. The country’s problems are increasing in a geometrical manner. Our leaders have no time to look at the burgeoning problems. Thanks they are busy in finding some sure-shot methods which could elevate them to the chairs they love most, admire most, and could most pleasingly accept even insults if theirs occupying the chair appears sure.

Thanks that we have such brilliant leaders. Nepal is safe in their able and strong hands.
