Leaders in heaven activists in hell

Dear Sir,

I have just gone through the "5 questions" column of last week dated June 2, 2004, and got to know views from academic people in the different field and most of them have same view to the Maoist issue, reason of flee in the jungle.

But I am a slightly off the bit because the only solution is not to flee but to fight and show the people that they were capable in doing things taking part in parliament and prove what is wrong and right. Rather than doing so, they disappeared and became wild, the reason why the Maoists adopted this path might be their inability to get more seats in the parliament.

Now, the best way to improve and stabilize situation in country like NEPAL, the poorest country in the world is to end the violence and insurgency and all work together to eradicate poverty.

NEPAL deserves and believes in multi party system, constitutional monarchy and this is optimum or peak point, there's no other way or choice.

I should say one thing to them, most of the leaders are well educated and can utilize their skill in the developments of Nepal. A country where cultural diversities and many cast, race, ethnicity, and indigenous people are living side by side and hands on hands, you can not disperse them and many millions people living in and abroad country still support monarchy and will be stronger in coming future which has high value in international community, so few thousands of the rebel or activists chanting against monarchy can't establish communism.

I have heard that one of the Maoist's central committee member's son or daughter is studying in London and another high level Maoist has got British permanent resident permit and his children go to British schools. So what's the reason for others children forcing to fight against the government and abandon their rights going to school who are innocent and are becaming victim. This is how the rebels work around the world. Leaders live in heaven and their activists always becomes victim.

Yours sincerely
Ale
