Whether Newars are janajatis or not?

Dear Editor,

I am not the right person to criticize any article of a great person like Mr. Malla K. Sundar, still i want to ask one question to the author about the sentence "when Mr. Tirtha Man Shakya was in the chief secretary why didn’t he extend the use of Nepal Bhasha to local development authorities?"

So what we gonna do if we do not understand the Newari language?

I respect that we have to preserve our culture and i ask my Newar friends to preserve their language as well. But it doesnot mean that we can tell each and every people of other casts too to speak their language.

Kathmandu is not only of Newars; people of each and every caste live there. So I would like to hear from Mr Sundar in this aspect but before replying please take in mind that i am not a racial person. I want Nepal to be diverse but let's not bring racial crisis in Nepal.
