Bleeding Wound

Dear Sir,

In this week's The Telegraph "Bleeding wound." You have brought out a most burning topic of the time. What Mr. Deuba accepted, so late, about the corrupt bureaucrats is very nice. He deserves congratulations for being so brave. I hope he can gather some courage to do something about it. Press must come forward to support Prime Minister and to shake these corrupt fellows to the extent that they should feel naked while appearing in public. I am afraid our press could do much better in this field than they have done to this day. Now I only wish that some one give them the message that these corrupt bureaucrats who consider them self as honorable citizens of Nepal are in fact the enemies of the nation. One could even brand them as antinational. That is what a common average person thinks about them. In the end I must add; "Whatever small number of honest bureaucrats we have we must salute them." Not because they are honest but because they could stay, clean and resist the temptations even after being surrounded by dirty fellow workers and even dirtier political bosses.
