Eyewitness speaks

The first eyewitness of the 1 June massacre at the Royal Palace has spoken. Captain Dr Rajeev Raj Shahi, son-in-law of the late king Birendra’s youngest brother Dhirendra who died in hospital, provided a near blow-by-blow account of the family gathering. According to him it took late King Dipendra about a minute and half to massacre almost an entire royal clan (Listen to statement).
