Grade 12 students inoculated in Doti

The vaccination drive against the coronavirus pandemic has resumed in Chitwan district from today.

As the schools long shut down due to COVID-19 have begun opening in Doti district, the local administration at Badikedar Rural Municipality in the district has begun vaccinating the students of Grade 12 against COVID-19.

The first dose of vaccine was administered to the students from Saturday, according to the officer at the Health Section in Badikedar Rural Municipality.

A total of 36 male students and 29 females were vaccinated for the first dose on Saturday, said Badikedar Rural Municipality Chairperson Krishna Bahadur Chand.

He said that since the schools reopened here, they decided to provide vaccines to the students to minimize the risk of COVID-19. The local level aims to vaccinate all students in its area.
