An additional 1 million 20 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Nepal from China on Wednesday. The government has purchased 5.9 million doses of Vero Cell under the cost-sharing scheme with COVAX.
The vaccine will be kept in storage at Teku. Earlier, the Government had received a total of 12 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine from China through grant assistance and purchase.
So far, Nepal has vaccinated a total of 153.42 million doses. Nepal has received a total of Eighteen million, nine hundred fifty-nine thousand, three hundred thirty doses of vaccine till now.
