31,000 fish fry released in Kaligandaki

Fish fry has been released in the historically important Kaligandaki river that flows through the border of Nawalparasi (east of Bardaghat-Susta) and Tanahu. The Natural Reservoir Fisheries Promotion and Conservation Center Hetauda has released 31,000 fish fry of Rahu and Naini species in the Kaligandaki River at Gaindakot-3 Bhokrephant.

Yadav said that the office had earlier released 34,000 fish fry in Samari River and 40,000 in Narayani River in Makwanpur.

He said that four lakh people depend on Nepal's natural reservoirs.
