Three members of one family, including a five-day-old newborn, have been found dead inside their house in Dolakha district on Wednesday.
According to District Police Office Chief Bhesh Raj Rijal, Shyam Tamang (27), his wife Ambika (25), and their five-day-old son were found dead in Jhule, Tamakoshi rural municipality-2 of the district today.
Because there were some embers inside the room, police suspect they were asphyxiated. However, further investigation is underway.
Police are waiting for the post-mortem reports to further the probe.
