A committee formed by the Ministry under the direction of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale to investigate the Nepal-India Pashupatimaitri Dharamsala has submitted its report today. The investigation committee formed under the coordination of Pashupati Area Development Fund treasurer Narayan Prasad Subedi has submitted the report.

Although Minister Ale was the chairman of the fund, the report was submitted to the secretary of the ministry, Maheshwor Neupane, by the coordinator of the committee, Subedi.

In the report submitted by the committee, it has been mentioned that the agreement should be canceled as it was done contrary to the agreement in Nepal-India Pashupatimaitri Dharamsala. Subedi, the coordinator of the committee, said that the committee is concerned that the information has already been published after planning to give tender to someone. He said, "There are many shortcomings regarding the hospice. The committee is of the view that the work has been done on the basis of setting, so it should be canceled." Similarly, it has been mentioned in the report of the committee that Dharamsala jewelry shops, vehicles have been kept and arbitrary prices have been taken.

The committee had five members. The members of the committee were Council members Asha Pandey, Vishwakaran Jayan, and Devi Prasad Baral, and the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Accounts. The hospice was leased by Pashupati Area Development Fund to Ananda Prali (Batas Group). The group is accused of operating the Pashupati Maitri Dharamsala as a hotel and charging exorbitant rents to pilgrims and religious tourists.
