Tiger killed in retaliation after it attacks locals in Kaski

Two locals have been injured after a tiger attacked them in Kaski district today.

According to the Gandaki Province Police Office in Pokhara, the two injured are 34-year-old Tula Bahadur Gurung and 32-year-old Milan Gurung. Both are residents of Dharapani in Rupa Rural Municipality-7 of Kaski.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyamu Aryal informed that when Tula Bahadur had gone to his field to cut grass this morning he had sighted the tiger. As he was running away the tiger attacked him from behind.  

When the locals saw the tiger they started attacking it in retaliation. During this retaliation, Milan also got injured in the head. Both the injured are being treated at Bhirchowk Health Post. The police informed that the tiger died on the spot after being attacked by the locals.
