Two held for forging vehicle pass in Bara

Police arrested two persons on charge of forging a vehicle pass from Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City in Bara district on Saturday afternoon.

The arrested has been identified as Gopal Prasad Shah (30) of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolis-3 and Jayanarayan Jaiswal (21) of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolis-17.

Shah is the owner of Dajubhai Photo Studio and General Store whereas Jaiswal owns a Sumo vehicle with registration number NA 1 JA 7288.

Jaiswal was driving the Sumo to Kathmandu from Kalaiya. District Police Office (DPO), Bara personnel arrested Jaiswal with the forged pass of District Administration Office, Bara, during a routine vehicle check at Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-1 in Pathlaiya.

During the investigation, police found that the vehicle pass was forged by Shah in his studio. The police also seized three duplicate forged passes and two printers, CPU, and monitors that were used to forge the pass from the studio.

They have been charged under a forgery case and further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO, Bara.
