Wild elephant kills man in Jhapa

A man working in the tea garden was attacked by a wild elephant at 6:30 AM in Bhadrapur, Jhapa.

A tea garden worker has died this morning while picking tea leaves after being attacked by a wild elephant. The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Burja (Magar), 60, of Bhadrapur Municipality-9, Jhapa.

He died on the spot when a wild elephant attacked him while he was picking tea at Tanka Poudel's tea garden in Mechinagar Municipality-14 on Friday morning at around 6:30.
