The Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplab) has stated that it will move ahead by participating in the coalition government if other political parties are ready to bring the country to political stability by holding referendum.

Issuing a press statement on Saturday, the CPN said that dissolving the House of Representatives and holding mid-term polls was a misfortune for the people. The CPN has demanded a referendum be held instead of mid-term polls.

The CPN lamented that political parties were still engrossed in power and annihilating activities. They should be ready to hold a referendum allowing the people to decide.

The Biplab-led party has also stated that it will participate in the coalition government and work for the development of the country.
