Nepal will face Lebanon today in the final match of the AFC U-23 Asia Cup qualifiers. The match between Nepal and Lebanon will be played at 4:45 pm (Nepali time) today at the Republican Central Stadium in Tajikistan.
For Nepal and Lebanon, this will be their last game in the qualifiers as both teams have lost the previous two matches. In Group B, Nepal lost 4-0 to Iran in the first match and 6-0 to Tajikistan in the second match.
Tajikistan and Iran are in first and second place with six points. Lebanon in third place and Nepal in fourth. The match against Tajikistan and Iran will decide the winner of Group B and the winner will get to play in the Asian Cup.
Similarly, the best four teams from the second team will also be selected in the U-23 Asian Cup. The cup in Uzbekistan is scheduled to take place from June 1 to 19, 2022.
