The Tunisian government added on Sunday another three governorates to the list of general lockdown as the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic worsens in the North African country.
Tunisian Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi decided on Saturday to impose general lockdown in the north-central governorate of Kairouan, following the deterioration of the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
Tunisian Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi has ruled out again the possibility of a nationwide lockdown despite the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases in the country, the Tunis Afrique Presse reported Monday.
